Asus has launched its latest Pegasus series smartphone in China, which is dubbed as Zenfone Pegasus 3S. Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3S is a ungraded version of older Zenfone Pegasus 3 smartphone, which was launched in June last year.
The Zenfone Pegasus 3S comes in two storage variants- 32GB and 64GB. However, as of now only 64GB variant will available for purchase starting from this month, which has the price tag of 1,999 yuan.
The Zenfone Pegasus 3S has a all-metal unibody design and features a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It is fueled by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor, along with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 2TB via microSD card. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated on its home button. The fingerprint sensor can store up to five fingerprint and supports fingerprint payment as well.
The Zenfone Pegasus 3S boast a massive 5000mAh battery with five smart power saving modes and support 5V/2A fast charge. The battery claims to withstand 48 hours of non-stop usage and can deliver up to 30 days of standby time. On the camera front, the smartphone offers 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 Aperture and Phase Detection Auto focus (PDAF). On its front it has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.
The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Besides, the smartphone Dual SIM (dual standby), 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a microUSB port.
