Android Facebook app gets status tagging

The latest update of the Facebook application for Android fixes the bugs and gets new features.

The Facebook application for powered devices has recently been upgraded to version 1.5.3. With this upgrade, the application aims to fix quite a few bugs that users from around the world noticed and reported to the application developer such as the occasional freezes and shut downs.
Now with the new version, users can expect a better, faster and more stable response from the application.

The latest update of the Facebook application also brings in the much wanted feature, the ‘In status tagging’. Earlier users were forced to resort to log in to their accounts using their computers when they needed to tag another fellow Facebook user in their status update. But with the added functionality, users can tag people right from the application itself.

The ‘Remote Photograph Upload’ application has been revamped and images now retain the original orientation. Also now users can upload photographs directly to their friends’ wall as well. To make applications more secure, Facebook 1.5.3 version now uses an SSL connection which is safer and faster as compared to the earlier version.

Users can download the latest version of the application by visiting the Android application store directly from their device or can just click here to download.
