Probably to encourage data consumption, Aircel today announced a new plan under which its users can avail free voice calling on data recharges.
“The product has been especially designed keeping in view the dramatic increase of Mobile Data users in India, for whom data usage is as much a part of their daily lives as is voice calling,” the operator said in a press release.
“With this, customers will now enjoy an added benefit on the most affordable data products by Aircel. Moreover, the product also offers attractive call rates for local as well STD calling,” it further added.
The offer is available in all circles of Aircel but at different price points. In Delhi circle, Aircel users can get 20,000 seconds of free voice calling, national as well as local, if they recharge with Rs 196 for 1 GB of 2G data which has a validity of 28 days. With this recharge they will also avail 1 paisa per second call rate for 90 days.
