128 GB model of Samsung S9, S9+ launched in India: Report

As per the report, the 128 GB models of the phones will be available through offline channels. The S9 and S9+ are currently available online in 64 GB and 256 GB models.

Samsung has silently launched the 128 models of Galaxy S9 and S9+ in India, a report of Gadgets.NDTV.com has claimed.

As per the report, the 128 GB models of the phones will be available through offline channels. The S9 and S9+ are currently available online in 64 GB and 256 GB models.

The website claimed that the 128 GB model of S9 will cost Rs 61,900 while S9+ 128 GB model will retail for Rs 68,900. In comparison, the 64 GB of S9 costs Rs 57,900 while the 256 model of the phone sells for Rs 65,900. The S9+ is being sold for Rs 64,900 and Rs 72,900 for 64 GB and 256 GB storage respectively.

The Samsung S9 has a 5.8-inch display while the S9+ offers a 6.2-inch screen. Both have Oreo operating system and have Samsung Exynos 9810 SoC. This is based on 10nm process and features four cores clocked at 1.9GHz, while four high-performance cores are clocked at 2.9GHz.

The Galaxy S9 features a 4GB of RAM, while the Galaxy S9+ is equipped with 6GB of RAM. The phones have expandable storage slots too that can hold micro card of up to 400 GB capacity.

The S9 features a 12-megapixel sensor with the variable so that users will be able to switch between f/1.5 and f/2.4 apertures. The Galaxy S9+ comes with a dual-camera setup at the rear with a combination of two 12-megapixel sensors with one of them featuring variable aperture as mentioned above along with a secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Both the sensors present in Galaxy S9+ and single rear camera in Galaxy S9 feature optical image stabilization (OIS) and both of them come loaded with laser and Dual autofocus. They have 8-megapixel front camera with f/1.7 aperture.
