Honor 5X – Tough like the Man of Steel

Honor has employed a special brushing technique to produce a consistent, polished finish in the Honor 5X.

How many times have you missed your old feature phone for its toughness? Ofcourse, you don’t want to go back to the ‘dumb’ phones but most new age smartphones, as some of might have experienced also, are very delicate. Their bodies are not tough enough to protect the vulnerable chips inside while displays often crack with just one or two drops.

But not all smartphones are like that. And one of such smartphones is the Honor 5X. The Honor 5X has a full metal body that is made of aluminum alloy. Its sleek, robust housing crafted from diamond-polished aluminum alloy normally reserved for aircraft which is far stronger than the plastic back covers of its competitors and it protects the internals fully well.

Furthermore, Honor has employed a special brushing technique to produce a consistent, polished finish in the Honor 5X. It has sand-blasted matte sides that complement the phone’s shiny CNC milled chamfer while completing its exquisite and elegant exterior. Laser-etched rear logo produces an understated yet premium feel.

The 5X also offers some unique design elements for the style conscious youth. One such design element in the Honor 5X is its upper and lower housings of its back panel that features dotted lines that complement each other, and an emoticon-inspired base design that gives the handset a youthful feel. The Honor 5X also comes in attractive sunset gold, dark gray and daybreak silver colours.

Other than the gorgeous metal body, a couple of other features in which Honor 5X will not disappoint you are as follows:

It is just 8.7 mm thick (Dimension: 77.3×151.9×8.7 mm) and weighs 170 grams which is certainly on the lower side for a phone with 5.5-inch display and a 3000 mAh battery. It supports two SIM card slots and amicro SD card slot as well.

The Honor 4X has a 5.5-inch display. The screen has got high definition resolution which means its display has got 267 ppi pixel density which is better than most of its competitors and the brightness will not disappoint you in outdoors and indoors locations.
