Asus today announced the launch of ZenBook 3 laptop and Transformer 3 Pro personal computer in India. The ZenBook 3 and Transformer 3 Pro will be available from October 2016 onwards across all major e-commerce sites like Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal and all Asus Exclusive Stores and leading retail stores across India at Rs 1,47,990 and Rs 1,44,990 respectively.
The ZenBook 3 has been announced in royal blue, rose gold and quartz grey colours. It is armed with Intel i7 processor, Windows 10 (64 bit) OS, and a 12.5 inch LED backlit display that has full HD resolution. Besides, it has VGA camera, Intel HD graphics card, fingerprint sensor, 40 WHrs battery, one headphone jack and a USB Type C port. It comes in 8 GB and 16 GB LPDDR3 RAM variants.
In a press release, Asus claimed: “The next-generation ZenBook is completely redesigned with a gorgeous, ultra-sleek 11.9mm chassis that weighs a mere 910g. To achieve its amazing lightness without compromising strength, ZenBook 3 is crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, a premium material that is 50% stronger than the standard alloy used in laptops. As well as being strong and light, this material is also supremely elegant and features the signature ZenBook spun-metal finish.”
The Transformer 3 Pro comes with 12.6 inch display with 2880×1920 pixels resolution, Intel Core i7 processor, Windows 10 (64 bit) OS, 16 GB RAM, Intel HD graphics, 39 WHrs battery, one HDMI, one type C port and a USB 2.0 port. The Transformer 3 Pro is only 8.35mm thin and has diamond-cut detailing that accentuates its elegant design.
“Asus Transformer 3 Pro has an integrated metal kickstand with a stepless hinge that lets users set the device at almost any viewing angle up to 170°. The included ASUS Transformer Cover Keyboard is a backlit keyboard that provides laptop-grade 1.4mm key travel for a comfortable typing experience and is available in four attractive colors — Stone, Charcoal, Taupe, and Amber,” said the company in a press release.
