Zopo launches Flash X1 and Flash X2 with 18:9 displays, price starts at Rs 6,999

Both the devices feature an 8-megapixel rear camera comes with Sony IMX219 sensor, f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. For the front, there is a 5-megapixel front shooter with soft LED flash and f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling.

Zopo has launched two new smartphones namely, Flash X1 and Flash X2 in India today at Rs 6,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively. Both the smartphones come in Coral Blue, Alien Black and Citrine Gold colour options and they will be available for purchase in India in October.

The main highlight of Zopo Flash X1 and Flash X2 smartphones is the 18:9 aspect ratio display with 83% screen-to-body ratio and the company claims them to be the cheapest smartphones in India to offer an 18:9 display.

Both the devices feature an 8-megapixel rear camera comes with Sony IMX219 sensor, f/2.4 and LED flash. For the front, there is a 5-megapixel front shooter with soft LED flash and f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. Both of them run on 7.0 Nougat and feature a fingerprint sensor on the back that can unlock the phone in 0.16 seconds. Both the smartphones are backed by 2GB of and 16GB of internal storage with an expandable storage of 128GB via micro card slot.

The Zopo Flash X1 comes loaded with a 5.5-inch (1280 x 640 pixels) IPS display 2.5D curved glass display and maintains an aspect ratio of 18:9, similar to what we have seen in the LG V30, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and Micromax Canvas Infinity. The Flash X2 features a 5.99-inch 2.5D curved glass display with a screen of 1440 x 720 pixels.

The Zopo Flash X1 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 and the Zopo Flash X2 is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU. The Zopo Flash X1 is backed by a 2500mAh battery while Zopo Flash X1 comes with 3380mAh battery. On the connectivity front, both of them support VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS 3.5mm and FM Radio.
