Xolo Q1100 with Snapdragon 400 processor launched for Rs 14,999

Xolo is perhaps the only Indian manufacturer which has so far launched smartphones based on Intel, Snapdragon, Mediatek, and even Nvidia Tegra processors.

Xolo today officially announced the launch of Q1100 smartphone for Rs 14,999. This Xolo smartphone comes with Snapdragon 400 quad core – the same which is also being used in the recently launched Motorola Moto G and the popular Samsung Galaxy Grand 2.

The Xolo Q1100 has a 5 inch IPS display with One Glass Solution (OGS) display technology. It runs on Android v4.3 and is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and Adreno 305 graphics engine with 450 MHz clock speed. There is 1 RAM, 8 GB and 32 GB external memory.

Xolo Q1100 also comes with exclusive Snapdragon apps like Audio+, Qualcomm Quick Charge and Battery Guru. Snapdragon Audio+ claims to offer high quality audio and a rich surround sound. “Its Quick Charge feature charges a mobile up to 75 per cent faster than the usual conventional technology. Qualcomm Snapdragon Battery Guru enables optimisation of battery life without the need of disabling any functionalities. It doesn’t require any inputs from user to configure and learns the way you use your device and reduces any unnecessary background activities,” explained Xolo in a press release.

In Xolo Q1100, there is an 8 auto focus rear camera with BSI 2 sensor. A 2 megapixel camera with BSI sensor is in its front. The rear camera includes various features like scene detection and tuning, high dynamic range (HDR), low light enhancement, face recognition, vertical and horizontal panorama capture and geo-tagging.

Xolo Q1100 has a 2000 battery which claims to provide upto 600 hours and upto 450 hours of standby on 2G and network respectively. The is 24 hours on 2G and 12.5 hours on 3G, claims Xolo. The phone is available only in black colour.

Notably, Xolo is perhaps the only Indian manufacturer which has so far launched smartphones based on Intel, Snapdragon, Mediatek, and even Nvidia Tegra processors.
