Xiaomi recently launched the successor to the Redmi 4A, Redmi Note 5A smartphone. Now after it, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is one of the most eagerly awaited smartphone which will come with better specs along with dual rear cameras. Now, as per Chinese website, Mydrivers, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is said to be launched in three different variants.
Furthermore, as per the report, there will be a Redmi Note 5 Plus along with Redmi Note 5 and both the smartphones are said to be launched before November 11. China’s biggest online shopping festival will take place on November 11. So, the Chinese company is expected to announce the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi 5 Plus before it.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is expected come in three variants – 3GB RAM with 16GB internal storage, 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage priced at 999 Yuan (Rs 9849), 1299 Yuan (Rs 12,807) and 1699 Yuan (Rs 16,751) respectively.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be powered by MediaTek P25 or P30 chipset. The higher-end variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage will be fueled by the Snapdragon 630 octa-core chipset. For the camera, the smartphone will boast dual rear camera setup of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel Sensors and a front-facing camera of unknown resolution. The smartphone will run Android Nougat based MIUI 9 and it will be backed up by 4000 mAh battery. All the Redmi Note 5 variants may arrive with 5.65-inch FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.
Xiaomi is also rumoured to announce a cheaper Redmi 5 Plus alongside. It is likely to feature a 5.7-inch display with 720 x 1280 Pixel resolution. It may be powered by Snapdragon 450 chipset. As far as pricing is concerned, the Xioami Redmi 5 Plus might carry a price tag of 799 Yuan.
