he much rumoured Mi Note 2 is likely to be launched this month itself, if reports are to be believed.
As per a Weibo user, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be launched on September 14 but another report has cited a leaked teaser as per which the phone will be unveiled on September 24.
As per the Weibo post, the Mi Note 2 has 5.7-inch display, Snapdragon 821 chipset, and 13 megapixel dual camera. It further claimed that the phone will be announced at 2999 Yuan (approximately Rs 29,868).Â
Meanwhile a purported teaser of the phone has been surfaced with “9.24” written on it which indicates towards September 24 launch date.
However, some claimed that since September 24 is a Saturday, Xiaomi might announce the phone September 14 and subsequently its sale will start on September 24th.
As per recent media reports, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 standard variant will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM while the premium variant will be powered by the Snapdragon 821 and 6GB of RAM. The 4GB model is expected to come with 32GB internal storage while the 6GB variant will come with 128GB internal storage.
Earlier renders hinted at dual curved display with curves on front and rear side. The phone is expected to have fingerprint scanner and USB Type C port.
As per earlier rumored specs, the Mi Note 2 will come with a 5.5-inch OLED display, a metal body, a fingerprint scanner in the front, 3600 mAh battery with fast charging feature, Snapdragon 821 chipset, 6GB RAM and 128GB memory.
