At an event in Delhi today, Xiaomi launched Mi Max with a humangous 6.44 inch display screen. The 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal Memory variant is priced at Rs14,999 and will available on Mi Store starting 6 July, and it will be available across other online partners from 13 July.
The Snapdragon 652 variant of Mi Max with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage has been priced at Rs 19,999 and its availability has not been revealed.
Earlier in China the company had launched three variants of Mi Max – one with 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and Snapdragon 650 SoC variant priced at 1499 yuan (approximately Rs 15,335), another with 3GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and Snapdragon 652 SoC at 1699 yuan (approximately Rs 17,375) and the third one has 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and Snapdragon 652 SoC at 1999 yuan (approximately Rs 20,445.
Xiaomi Mi Max has a body made of Aluminium and plastic and features 6.44-inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS display. It is powered by Snapdragon 650 hexacore processor. All the variants have expandable memory via micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 4850 mAh battery. It also features a fingerprint scanner which is located on the rear panel.
The smartphone boasts a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, Micro-USB 2.0 port, AGPS and GLONASS. The handset measures 173.1 x 88.3 x 7.5 mm and weighs 203 grams.
