Xiaomi Mi CC series phones to launch on July 2

Two smartphones from Xiaomi Mi CC series which have already been leaked are Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e.

Xiaomi recently announced its new camera-centric CC series in partnership with Meitu mobiles. Now Xiaomi has confirmed that the first smartphones under the new CC will go official on July 2 in China. After Mi and Redmi, the CC series will be the third smartphone brand from the company.

The company has confirmed the launch date via its Weibo handle that it is holding a launch event on 2 July in Beijing, China at 7:00 PM local time. Two smartphones from this series which have already been leaked are Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e.

Meanwhile, a live photo of the Mi CC9 has surfaced onWeibo. The image shows only the front of the upcoming phone. It will have a bezel-less display with no notch. The Xiaomi CC9 is said to come with a flip-up triple camera. The other, Mi CC9e will have a waterdrop notch and triple rear cameras.

Apart from this, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 and Xiaomi Mi CC9e specifications along with their variants have also leaked online. As per tipster Mukul Sharma, Xiaomi Mi CC9 will come in three variants – 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage with a price tag of Yuan 2599, the 8GB RAM with 128GB of storage will be priced at Yuan 2799 and 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage will cost Yuan 3099. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC and pack a 4,000mAh battery as well with 27W support. It will feature a 6.39-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED display.

On the camera front, the smartphone will have a 32-megapixel front camera along with a triple rear camera setup of 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary lens, and a 12-megapixel third sensor. The phone is listed to come with an on-screen fingerprint sensor, Blaster, USB port, and Hi-Res audio support as well.

On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi CC9e will be priced at 1,599 Yuan for the 6GB and 64GB variant, 1,899 Yuan for the 6GB and 128GB variant, and 2,199 Yuan for the 8GB and 128GB variant. It will come equipped with Snapdragon 710 SoC. It will feature a smaller 5.97-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) and it will be powered by a 3500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. For the front camera, the smartphone will have the same 32-megapixel sensor as Xiaomi Mi CC9. The phone will have a triple rear camera setup with a combination of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX583 sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor.
