Vivo teases Jovi OS, might replace FunTouch OS

Vivo seems to be gearing up to launch a new user interface for its smartphones. The company has teased the new operating system on its official account in China. 

 

The project manager The project manager for FunTouch OS has shared a new logo design for its upcoming user interface. The new UI is known as Jovi OS. For those who are not aware, Jovi is the virtual assistant from Vivo. As going by the name, it is certain that the new user interface will be made using Jovi virtual assistant as the centre theme. However, there is no information available on what will be the features of the upcoming UI and when it will be released. for FunTouch OS has shared a new logo design for its upcoming user interface. However, many believe that the company might introduce or shed some light during the launch event of Vivo X30. The company is all set to launch the smartphone in the month of December. The company recently revealed new teasers that hint a new periscope-like camera, which we have seen in Huawei P30 Pro. Furthermore, the phone will be available in Coral, Black and a new gradient finish.

It is said to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is reported to come with a combination of 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel shooter. For the front, it will come with 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The smartphone will be backed by a 4500mAh battery along with 22.5W fast charging support.
