Vivo has scheduled a new launch event for December 22 in China for the arrival of the Vivo S16 series. The S16 series now has a landing page on the company’s website which has confirmed the existence of three devices, including the Vivo S16e, S16, and S16 Pro.

Vivo has scheduled the S16 series launch event for December 22, 7 PM (local time) in China. The lineup will consist of three devices as said above, including the Vivo S16 Pro, S16 and the S16e. The brand has also revealed the design of all three devices which shows that all three of them will look similar to each other.
Vivo S16 Specifications (Rumoured)
The Vivo S16 specs have been leaked by 91Mobiles recently. It will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Vivo device is powered by the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
On the front, it will have a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Its back panel will feature a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The device will pack a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
There’s an under-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, on the device which is expected to run on the OriginOS 3-based Android 13 OS.
Vivo S16e Specifications (Rumoured)
The Vivo S16e will sport a 6.62-inch AMOLED Display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will draw power from an Exynos 1080 chipset, coupled with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of native storage.
The device will feature a 16-megapixel camera for selfies. At the back, it will have a 50-megapixel primary camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras for depth and macro shots. It could house a 4,600mAh battery and support 66W rapid charging. This one will also have NFC, under-display fingerprint sensor and will run on Android 13-based OriginOS Forest.
Vivo S16 Pro Specifications (Rumoured)
The Vivo S16 Pro is the highest end model in the lineup and will seemingly have the most powerful set of specs put of the three. The S16 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera on the back with the Vivo V1+ ISP onboard.
It should have a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and curved edges. It should draw power from the Dimensity 8200 Processor with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The Pro model’s battery size is unknown as of yet but is expected to support 80W fast charging.
