Tambo Mobiles, a new entrant in Indian smartphone market, has today announced the launch of a new budget-centric smartphone, the TA-3, in India. The phone comes with a price tag of Rs 4,999 and it will be available across distributors channels in the country in Jet Black, Champagne and Metallic Blue paint job.
The budget smartphone comes loaded with 4.95-inch FullView display with 2.5D curved glass. The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor along with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via micro SD card slot.
On the camera front, users get a 5-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling along with a flash. The camera comes with different modes like face beauty, burst mode, panorama mode and stickers. However, the company has not mentioned the battery capacity and Android version of its latest budget smartphone.
Further, the company is promising a service warranty of 200 days replacement along with a warranty of one-time screen replacement within 365 days of buying the phone. Tambo claims that it has more than 600 service centres in India and aims to have 1000 service centres by the end of 2018.
