While Sony is expected to unveil Sony Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact and Xperia X1 smartphones at Sony pre-IFA 2017 launch event on August 31, an unannounced Sony Xperia XG Compact smartphone has been spotted GeekBench benchmarking website. The listing has revealed some of the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
In the GeekBench listing, the Sony Xperia ZG Compact got 1349 points in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 3049 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Sony Xperia ZG Compact has 2GB RAM and Snapdragon 810 1.55 GHz octa-core processor. The handset is based on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.
The Sony Xperia XG Compact is shown in the listing featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset which came with the Z5 Compact launched back in year 2015. This is quite strange as Snapdragon 810 is an old chipset which has been not used in 2017 smartphones. So we advise you to take this information with a grain of salt.
As per earlier leaks, the Xperia XZ1 will boast a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The phone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 4GB of RAM and it will be juiced up by a 3000mAh battery.
