Samsung has quietly made the digital camera centric smartphone Galaxy K Zoom up for pre-order at Amazon India for Rs 29,999. The Galaxy K Zoom is Samsung’s response to the Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone mostly focused at imaging. The new Galaxy K Zoom offers unique combination of smartphone and digital camera. Amazon India is taking pre-orders for Galaxy K Zoom at Rs 29,999 and also offering free gifts worth Rs 6000 that includes free Auto Pop Cover coupon, 32 GB micro SD card, Rs 1000 discount on select watches, Rs 1000 discount on select handbags, and 6 movie tickets.
Late April, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy K Zoom smartphone with digital camera capabilities. The smartphone is powered by a hexa-core Samsung Exynos 5 mobile Chipset and powered with 2 GB RAM. This core hardware powers the TouchWiz Essence UI loaded Android 4.4 KitKat system.
The Galaxy K Zoom bears very slim and easily pocketable design so that it can be easily carried anywhere. Samsung has packed a 20.7 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor in the Galaxy K Zoom and coupled it with Optical Image Stablizer to deliver best possible imaging results. There camera module is also aided with the Xenon Flash.
Galaxy K Zoom offers a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED Display with HD resolution as a viewfinder while imaging and as smartphone rest of the time. For connectivity, the Galaxy K Zoom offers 4G LTE (TD-LTE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, A-GPS and GLONASS. Samsung has packed only 2430 mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving mode.
