Samsung Galaxy A70s was launched in India this year. Now Samsung has started rolling out a new update to its Galaxy A70s smartphone in India. The latest update brings OctoberAndroid security patch as well as bug fixes and improvements to the phone.
The version number for this update is A707FDDU1ASI7, and it is around 313MB in size. Since it is rolling out via OTA, it may take several days to reach all the units. In order to check for the latest update, users can go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
The new updatebrings in the Bixby Side key function and support for type-C headphones. The update also comes with the ‘Link to Windows’ feature which adds a quick toggle to the notification shade that lets you quickly connect your phone to your Windows PC via the Microsoft Your Phone Companion app. It also lets you mirror your phone’s screen on the PC.
Sammobile reports, the update brings in the Bixby Side key function. Once the power key is assigned to Bixby Voice, the power menu can be accessed via the notification shade. Apart from these changes, the update also brings the usual bug fixes, device stability improvements and enhancing existing features. Sadly, the update brings along the October patch instead of latest November Android security patch.
The Samsung Galaxy A70s is priced at Rs 28,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant while the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 30,999.

The phone is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 processor with Adreno 612 GPU. The phone is equipped with 64MP rear camera with LED flash with f/1.8 aperture, 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 8MP 123° ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture.
For the front, the phone has a 32MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture or selfies and video calling. It has an in-display Fingerprint sensor. Samsung Galaxy A70s is backed up by 4500mAh battery with 25W super fast charging and it runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung One UI.
