Samsung has today launched its new smartphone under A series, dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018). The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) comes in two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage priced at Rs 23,990 and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage which will cost you Rs 28,990. It will be available to customers for early access on 27 September and special preview sale on 28 September on Flipkart and Samsung shop.
The USP of the smartphone is that it comes with triple camera setup. And with it becomes the Samsung’s first triple camera smartphone to be launched in India
The smartphone was recently announced last week globally but without any pricing details. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) come in four colour variants – Blue, Black and Gold. The smartphone will challenge flagships like Poco F1, OnePlus 6, Asus Zenfone 5Z in terms of pricing.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) has a triple rear camera of 24-megapixel with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 8-megapixel with ultra-wide f/2.4 lens for wide-angle photos and 5-megapixel f/2.2 depth sensor. The front facing camera will feature a 24-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 Aperture and LED flash. It features a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080×2220 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity Display along with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an Exynos 7885 octa-core Processor clocked at 2.2GHz.
The smartphone comes in two memory configurations – 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. Both the variants are further expandable up to 512GB via micro SD.

For the software, the smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with the company’s own Samsung Experience on top. The smartphone is fueled by a 3300mAh battery with adaptive fast charging. Features like Dolby Atmos, Samsung Pay, and Bixby (without Bixby Voice support) are also included in the Galaxy A7 (2018).
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) connectivity options are Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, NFC (Optional), GPS/GLONASS, and a Micro USB port. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, RGB light sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It measures 159.8 x 76.8 x 7.5 mm and it weighs 168 grams.
