The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and A7 (2017) smartphones have again been spotted with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system on the website of WiFi Alliance. The listing has revealed that both the smartphones will run on Android Nougat operating system soon. This means that the company is testing the latest software and may release the Android Nougat update for the devices soon. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and A7 (2017) were launched earlier this year with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Earlier Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) was spotted with Nougat on GeekBench benchmarking website. The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) was also spotted on GFXBench bench-marking website with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
If we look at the specs of the Galaxy A5 (2016), it offers a 5.2 inch Super AMOLED Display with full high definition resolution. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 octa-core processor and has 2 GB RAM. It offers 16 GB of Internal Memory and a 128 GB micro SD card slot. The A5 (2016) offers 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera with the juice coming from a 2900 mAh battery.
In comparison, the Galaxy A5 (2017) comes with a 5.2-inch full HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging. It is powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On the camera front, it sports a 16-megapixel rear and front cameras with Aperture f/1.9. The smartphone is powered by a 3,600mAh battery with fast charging technology and support connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, ANT+, USB Type-C, Dual-SIM and NFC.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) features a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a Octa-Core 1.9 GHz Exynos 7880 Processor with Mali-T830MP3 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable upto 256GB via microSD card.
