OnePlus is all set to introduce its latest OnePlus 6T in October. Now, just ahead of launch, the phone’s battery capacity has leaked online.
As per a post on Chinese social media site, Weibo, the OnePlus 6T will feature a 3,700mAh battery. The post also contains the image of the battery that will be used in OnePlus 6T. If this is believed to be true then OnePlus 6T will sport a bigger battery capacity as compared to its predecessor. To recall, OnePlus 6 comes loaded with a 3300mAh battery. It is certain that OnePlus will stick to Dash Charge technology for fast charging as well.
The rumours about the upcoming flagship device have been aplenty. Recently, some CAD renders of the OnePlus 6T were leaked online, revealing some key information about its design. The renders were posted by Mysmartprice and it shows the device from all angles. The renders show that the phone will come loaded with a waterdrop notch, which is present in Oppo R17 or F9 series, Vivo V11, V11 Pro and V9 Pro and more.
The back houses vertically-aligned dual-camera setup and there is no fingerprint sensor at the back, meaning that the smartphone will come loaded with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The right houses alert slider and volume controls. Sadly, the OnePlus 6T will ditch 3.5mm audio jack in favour of USB Type-C port. The phone will measure 157.5 x 75.7 x 8.2mm.
Recollecting some key specifications, the OnePlus 6T will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED waterdrop notch display with a 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 91.5 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 GPU. OnePlus 6T will ship with OxygenOS based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. It will come in various variants – 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage.
