HMD Global has announced the launch of Nokia 3.1 A and Nokia 3.1 C budget smartphones for US Carriers AT&T and Cricket Wireless, respectively. The company has however not announced the pricing.
The Nokia 3.1 A comes in Black colour and it will be available for sale at select Walmart stores starting June 10. On the other hand, the Nokia 3.1C comes in White colour and it will go on sale via Cricket Wireless locations and the online store from June 14.
The announcement comes after the recent launch of the Nokia 2.2 in India. The Nokia 3.1 A and Nokia 3.1 C are identical in specifications except the carrier branding on the back.
The Nokia 3.1A and Nokia 3.1C feature 5.45-inch HD display with 720 x 1440 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. They are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 12nm Processor with Adreno 504 GPU.
The phones have 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 Aperture and 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12um pixel size. They have 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and an expandable memory up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
Both the phones run Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system and are backed up by 2900mAh battery. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/AGPS+GLONASS+BDS, USB Type-C, 3.5 mm Headphone jack and FM Radio. They measure 152.65 x 71.88 x 9.3 mm and they weigh 181 grams.
