Lenovo yesterday launched Lenovo K8 Note with Stock Android operating system. Now as per a report of Android Police, company’s official software upgrade page has revealed that there will be no Nougat 7.0 update for the Lenovo’s entire Phab series of smartphones. The list includes the world’s First Tango Project Phone, Lenovo Phab 2 Pro which was launched in India earlier this year for Rs 29,990.
The others smartphones which will not be getting the Nougat update include the Phab, the Phab Plus, Phab2, and Phab2 Plus smartphones. The first two will remain at Android 5.0 Lollipop while the other two will remain with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Apart from these smartphones, two tablets also namely Tab3 7 Essential and the Tab3 10 Business will not be getting the Nougat update. The former will remain stuck on Android 5.0 Lollipop, whereas the latter will stay on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Just last month, Android Nougat was rolled out for all 2017 Lenovo phones. With this, the Lenovo Z2 Plus and P2 smartphones have also received Nougat update. Earlier, Lenovo rolled out the latest Android Nougat 7.0 update for K6 Power and K6 Note smartphones.
