A new image leak has come up which claims that Google Pixel 2 XL, codenamed as ‘Taimen’ will be equipped with low-bezel AMOLED Display and squeezable frame. The Android Police in its latest report notes that they are ‘exceptionally confident’ that this image represents the overall look and feel of Google’s new smartphone. The report further says that the rear of the new XL is curved like last year’s phone, though perhaps with sharper corners this time around. It seems that the fingerprint scanner sits below the glass “window” at the top of the phone.
Additionally, we notice that the new Pixel XL images sport an aspect ratio of 2:1, much like the LG G6. The camera sensor is further seen surrounded by a silver coloured ring. In addition to this, the phone doesn’t appear to have any noticeable Antenna bands.The new Pixel XL is also said to include a squeezable body just like the HTC U11.

Ever since Rick Osterloh, senior vice president of hardware, Google had confirmed that there would be a new Pixel this year, there has been a lot of speculations regarding the upcoming device. Google’s next generation device was earlier reported to be working on two Pixel smartphones codenamed as Walleye and Taimen, which will be the successor of the Google Pixel and Pixel XL respectively.
We may recall that earlier there was a report which said that the smartphone will come loaded with a 5.99-inch Quad HD display, which will feature an OLED panel provided by LG. To add to it, the DBS design’s concept video, had similar claims which said Google Pixel 2 will feature curved edges, along with two rear cameras and a front camera.
