A bunch of new launches are taking place in India, including a new foldable smartphone from Tecno called Phantom V Fold, a rugged smartwatch from Fire-boltt called Sphere, a set of TWS earbuds with ANC from Noise called Buds X, and a Linux OS powered 24-inch Smart TV from Infinix. Read on to know more about all the new products.
Tecno Phantom V Fold Price, Specs
The Tecno Phantom V Fold will be priced at Rs 89,999 for the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant and Rs 99,999 for the 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage trim. Customers will be able to purchase the Phantom V’s base model for Rs 79,999 during an early bird sale, details for which will be announced later. The Phantom V Fold will come in black and white colours. The device is set to be made available in Q2 of 2023.
The Tecno Phantom V Fold adopts a book-like folding design, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold4, and sports a 6.42-inch AMOLED LPTO outer display with a punch-hole design. It offers a Full HD+ Resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the inside, it gets a 7.85-inch foldable AMOLED LTPO screen with a punch-hole, a resolution of 2000 x 2296 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Phantom V Fold is powered by the Dimensity 9000+ processor, paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The foldable phone comes preloaded with Android 13 OS, which is based on Tecno’s HiOS UI.
For optics, you get a 32-megapixel camera on the outer display, while a 16-megapixel camera is present on the inside. The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto snapper that offers 2x zoom, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a dual-LED flash.
The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 45W Fast charging support. Connectivity options include Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port for charging.
Fire-boltt Sphere Smartwatch Price, Specs
The Fire-Boltt Sphere rugged smartwatch is priced at Rs 2,999. It is offered in Black and Green Forest colours and can be purchased from the brand’s website, Amazon, and Flipkart.
The Fire-Boltt Sphere has a circular dial with a rugged build. It comes with a metallic chassis and IP68-rated water and sweat resistance. The smartwatch sports a 1.6-inch display bearing an HD resolution and 600 nits peak brightness. There are two functional crown buttons on the right side.
The watch is equipped with a health monitoring suite, including a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, and sleep tracker. It supports 22 sports modes. The device also features hydration and sedentary reminders.
It comes with HiFi speakers for Bluetooth calling and offers features like remote music and camera control, notifications, weather updates, six menu interfaces, and more. The wearable device packs a 600mAh battery which can offer 8 days of usage in normal mode and 25 days in standby mode.
Noise Buds X TWS Price, Specs
The new Noise Buds X are priced at Rs 1,999. They are offered in Carbon Black and Snow White colours and can be purchased from the brand’s website and Amazon.
For specs, the Noise Buds X have a 12mm driver with support for AAC codec. It features active noise cancellation up to 25 dB to eliminate background noise while there is also a quad-mic setup with environmental noise cancellation for clear quality on calls. The TWS earbuds features three EQ modes – bass, gaming, and normal.
They have an in-ear design with a stem and silicone ear tips, and are IPX5-rated for water resistance. Users can control various functions by tapping on the stem of the earbuds. They connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 while HyperSync technology enables quick pairing when the charging case is opened. The TWS earphones are claimed to offer 35 hours of battery usage on a full charge. They also support fast charging via a USB-C port.
Infinix 24” Y1 Smart TV Price, Specs
The new 24-inch Y1 Smart TV from Infinix has a price tag of Rs 6,799 and will be available on sales on Flipkart from 15th March.
The TV sports a 24” HD LED display backed by HLG support for improved dynamic range. A combination of HLG with 250 NITS brightness further helps dim and adjust brightness levels to produce clear and more luminous pictures. The TV also gets an eye care mode which reduces the emission of blue light.
The Infinix Smart TV comes loaded with pre-installed OTT apps including Prime Video, YouTube, SonyLiv, Zee5, ErosNow, AajTak. Further, it packs two 16W box speakers. The 24 Y1 Smart TV offers multiple connectivity options. It sports 2 x HDMI ports, 2x USB ports, 1 RF input, 1 AV input, 1 Headphone jack, 1 COAX out, LAN and WiFi.
The TV also has a remote with two hotkeys for one-click assistance to YouTube and Prime Video. It is powered by a Quad-core Processor with 4 GB of storage and 512 MB RAM. The TV runs on Linux OS and gets Chromecast built-in.
