Moto G Turbo Edition spotted with Android 7.0 Nougat

The smartphone was launched last year with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Moto G Turbo Edition which was launched in India last year in December has now been spotted on GFXBench benchmarking website with the Android Nougat operating system. This means that Motorola is perhaps testing the latest software and may release the same for the device soon. Note that the Moto G Turbo Edition is listed as Motorola Pixel on the GFXBench listing.

Recently, Moto X Play was also spotted on GFXBench benchmarking website with the Android Nougat operating system.

The specs in the GFX listing are the same which were revealed at the launch, except now it shows Android 7.0 Nougat in the Operating System. The device was originally launched with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.

As per the listing on GFXBench, Moto G Turbo Edition has a 5-inch display with 1280×720 pixels and 5 finger gesture support. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.4 GHz octa-core and 2GB RAM. The Moto G Turbo Edition spotted with Android 7.0 Nougat offers 16GB of internal storage out of which 12GB will be reserved for the users. Besides, it has Adreno-405 and Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with Cyanogen Mod (user/test-keys).

Besides, the Moto G Turbo Edition has a 13-megapixel camera and an flash in its rear panel while an 5-megapixel camera is in its front. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has accelerometer, and as well.

Just to recall, Moto G Turbo Edition runs on a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and Adreno 405 graphics processor. The smartphone has a water and dust resistant and hence rating. It has a 5 inch display with 3. The Moto G Turbo is 142.1mm tall, 72.4mm wide and has a curved body (6.1-11.6mm).

The Android Lollipop 5.1.1 based Motorola Moto G Turbo comes with a 2470 battery that claims to offer up to 24 hours back up with mixed usage. It also has TurboPower that claims to charge it for up to 6 hours of use in just 15 minutes. The smartphone has a 13 rear camera with f2.0 aperture, dual LED flash, auto focus, 4x digital zoom, slow motion video, burst mode, panorama, and video HDR features.

The Moto G Tubo offers a 5 megapixel front camera with f2.2 aperture, fixed focus and display flash technology. This dual smartphone comes with 4.0, WiFi (b/g/n), with AGPS and GLONASS, 2 microphones to supress ambient noise, 3.5 mm jack and a port. It offers Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity and Sensor Hub.
