Microsoft is expected to announce its new mid-range smartphone, the Microsoft Lumia 650, on February 1. Windows Central is now claiming that the Lumia 650 could be the last ever Lumia smartphone.
As per the website, Microsoft will be focusing on its flagship Windows 10 phones instead which is expected to be part of the Surface line later this fall (October-November) and will come with Intel processors.
Microsoft, as per the report, had also cancelled the successors of Lumia 650, the Lumia 750 and Lumia 850, way back in July 2015 itself.
Coming back to the Lumia 650, the phone is expected to come with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and the 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 or 212 processor. It is reported to come with 1GB of RAM, Windows 10 operating system and a 2000 mAh battery.
Besides, Lumia 650 is said to come with 8GB of internal memory, which will be expandable via a microSD card. The smartphone also expected to have an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 4G, Dual SIM, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS with AGPS.
