In quick succession to launch of Canvas Xpress, Micromax today unveiled Canvas Selfie in India. It is targeted at women mobile users. It will be available in market from second week of January and the company will reveal its price closer to the launch.
The Canvas Selfie was unveiled by Sania Mirza, Ana Ivanovic, Kristina Mladenovic and Daniela Hantuchova at the ongoing International Premier Tennis League tournament.
The major attraction of Micromax Canvas Selfie is that it has a 13 Megapixel front and rear camera along with flash and Sony sensor. This smartphone comes with inbuilt beauty tools in the camera application like Eye Enhancement which makes eyes bigger and brighter, face slimming; skin smoothening; teeth whitening ; remove oil to get rid of the oil patches and one can also add make up effects like mascara, eye-shadow, blush and lip gloss.
Micromax Canvas Selfie has a 4.7-inch HD IPS display toughened with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and 1.7 GHz octacore processor. It has a 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and micro SD card to add 32 GB storage. It is powered by a 2300 mAh battery.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie is a dual SIM phone that runs of Android 4.4 KitKat. It is not known whether it will be upgradeable to Android Lollipop.
