Meizu has launched its new device in China today, named as Meizu 16Xs. The phone comes in two different variants- 6GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage, which is priced at 1698 yuan, while for 6GB of RAM with 128GB internal storage one has to shell out 1998 yuan. The device comes in four colour options- Ice Silk White, Knight Black, Coral Orange, and Atlantis Blue. The phone will be available for purchase starting June 10th at 10:00 AM through Meizu official website, Meizu Tmall official flagship store, JD.com and other e-commerce platforms, as well as from Meizu offline store.
Meizu 16Xs has a 6.2-inch 6.2-inch full HD+ (2232 x1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with ultra-narrow symmetrical frame and uses Blu-ray filter eye protection technology. Company has claimed to have obtained German VDE safety eye protection certification for this phone. It comes armed with a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor (2xKryo 460 A76 + 6xKryo 460 A55). It comes equipped with an AI triple rear camera setup with a combination of 48-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.7, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel camera. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel AI sensor for selfies. The phone's camera supports AI scene recognition, super night scene mode, portrait mode, AI beauty, and front HDR+. It comes with Super mTouch screen fingerprint recognition technology which claims unlock the phone in only 0.2 seconds. Connectivity options include Dual SIM, VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS with GLONASS and aType C-port. The phone measures 152 x 74.4 x 8.3 mm and weighs in 165 grams.
The phone comes loaded with Hyper Gaming technology which identifies the game thread load size and allocates the resources accordingly during the game. The phone also comes with Minor Anti-Addiction feature that can effectively detect the application's usage time and even forcing the application to quit or inform the parents about the usage. Moreover, it has Family Guardian 2.5 and Family Fraud 2.5 applications, the Guardian 2.5 helps users to find family members (elders or children) by sending the exact location of the whereabouts, while Family Fraud 2.5 app sends the anti-fraud notifications. When the app detects that there is a fraud or health care product promotion call to the elder's phone, or when the SMSs requesting sending a verification code bank card, etc., the user will be notified as to the earliest.
