Recently, Meizu has announced to launch its next flagship device named Meizu 16s on April 23rd at an event to be held in Zhuhai, China. Now the company has made the phone available for pre-booking on Meizu China website and JD.com, wherein interested users can pre-book the device.
Based on report and leaks, Meizu 16s will have a 6.2 inches full HD+ display with 1080 x 2232 pixels resolution and will come equipped with Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC with Adreno 640 GPU. The smartphone would have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone is slated to have a dual rear camera setup, with the combination of 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor and 20-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, it will have a 20-megapixel camera. Meizu 16s will be backed up by 3,540mAh battery with 24W Fast charging and it will run Android 9.0 (Pie) with Flyme OS.
Connectivity features will include Dual-Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type C. The phone will measure 151.9 x 73.4 x 7.65mm and will weigh around 166 grams. It might come in three colour variants – Black, White and Gradient Blue. The smartphone is expected to cost around Yuan3,400 (approx Rs35,266).
