Meizu launched the 16 series earlier this year in China. Now seems like the company will bring the series to India on December 5. The series includes smartphones like Meizu 16, Meizu 16 Plus and Meizu 16X.
The Meizu India on its official Twitter handle has teased the launch of the Meizu 16th smartphone on December 5. With the launch of three new smartphones, the company will compete with other popular brands in India like Xiaomi and OnePlus. Meizu 16th smartphone will be a direct rival to OnePlus 6T in the premium segment.

Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus were launched in August this year. The Meizu 16 sports a 6-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo wrapped under Flyme OS. The battery will have 3,010 mAh capacity with support for mCharge fast charging.
It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor with Adreno 630 GPU coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. It has a dual rear cameras of 12MP wide-angle lens, Sony IMX380 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, Laser auto-focus and 20MP telephoto lens with Sony IMX350 sensor, f/2.6 aperture. For the front, it has 20MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI face unlock.
The connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C. It measures 150.5 × 73.2 × 7.3mm and weighs 152 grams.

Meizu 16 Plus features 6.5-inch (1080 × 2160 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. An Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor powers this device with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 6GB RAM with 128GB Internal Memory and 8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB internal memory.
For the camera, it has a 20MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI face unlock. For the rear, it has a 12MP primary sensor with wide-angle lens, Sony IMX380 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, Laser auto-focus and a secondary 20MP telephoto lens with Sony IMX350 sensor, f/2.6 aperture. This dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Flyme OS with 3640mAh battery with mCharge fast charging. It has the same connectivity options as of Meizu M16. For dimensions, it has 160.4 × 78.2 ×7.3 mm and weight is 182 grams.
