LG is all set to launch a dual SIM version of its popular Optimus L7 smartphone, according to a report. According to Hi-tech.mail.ru, the phone is to be called as Optimus L7 II Dual.
The Optimus L7 II Dual will be a mid-range device with almost identical hardware specifications as its predecessor. It has a dedicated hardware button for switching between the SIM’s just as the one featured on the Sony Xperia Tipo Dual.
The LG Optimus L7 II will be powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor. Besides, it will have a 4.3-inch display based on IPS LCD technology of which LG is a well-known maker.
The dual SIM handset is expected to run on Android’s Jelly Bean operating system along with LG’s very own Optimus user interface.
There will be an 8 Megapixel camera at the back, probably with full HD video recording capability, along with a front facing camera.
The LG Optimus L7 II Dual expected to be launched this month during the Mobile World Congress which is scheduled to take place from February 25-28.
