Intex Technologies has announced to launch yet another affordable smartphone with 4G VoLTE support, dubbed as Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+. The smartphone is priced at Rs 5,490 and is available in Black and Gold colours options.
The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ features a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and comes armed with a 1.3GHz quad-core (SC9832A) processor. The device is backed by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. This 4G VoLTE smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
On the camera front, the Aqua Strong 5.1+ sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for clicking selfies. The smartphone gets its strength from a 2000 mAh Li–ion battery, which is claims to deliver talk-time of up to 5 hours and standby time of up to 250 hours. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a microUSB port. The handset measures 143.1*72.1*10.1mm.
The smartphone also offers Intex’s in-house VAS services such as MiFon Security which is a 9-in-1 security suite to make the device secure and smarter and VdioPlay which is a Video aggregator app offering access to best of free and premium OTT players in one place. Other unique services like GamePlay offers a gaming destination for all Intex users and QR Code reader scans and decodes the QR code to automatically reveal all relevant information with a single tap. These deeply embedded VAS or digital services have been especially designed to enhance device functionality, user engagement applications and usefulness of a smartphone. The smartphone also comes integrated with smart tracking – a feature that allows users to track the phone if stolen/lost, the company explained these features in press note.
