US based InFocus, which entered the Indian market earlier this year, today announced that its M812 and M370 smartphones will get the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow update by the end of this year.
InFocus M812 was launched earlier in September this year at Rs 19,999 while the InFocus M370 was launched in October at Rs 5,999. We have already reviewed the M370 which you can read here.
The InFocus M812 has a sleek anodized aluminum uni-body, measuring just 7.3 mm. The phone has a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display that has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 glass protection. It offers a 13 megapixel rear camera with a dual tone flash and an 8 megapixel front camera that claims to offer 80 degree wide viewing angle. The M812 comes packed with 3GB RAM along with 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, running on 64-bit CPU architecture. The device offers 4G LTE connectivity, a 2900 mAh battery, one SIM card slot, an expandable storage slot of 128 GB capacity, 16 GB internal memory, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac), and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS.
The affordable InFocus M370 offers a quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of built in memory, 32 GB micro SD card slot, 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, and a removable 2230 mAh battery.
The M370 has two SIM card slot (second slot can either hold the micro SD card or a nano SIM). Most importantly it offers 4G-LTE connectivity apart from WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. The phone also offers Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and E-compass.
