Nokia has today announced the launch of a new range of smartphones and features phones during the IFA 2019 event in Berlin. The company has announced Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 2720 Flip, Nokia 110 (2019) and Nokia 8810 Tough phones during the tech event.
The Nokia 7.2 comes with a price tag of 249 Euros (approx. Rs 19,900) and it will be available in Cyan Green, Charcoal and Ice colour options. The Nokia 6.2 is priced at 199 Euros (approx. Rs 15,900) and it will be available in Ceramic Black and Ice colour options. The Nokia 110 feature phone is priced at $20 (approx. Rs 1,400) and it comes in Stunning Pink, Ocean Blue, and Black colour options. The Nokia 2720 Flip is priced at 89 Euros (approx. Rs 7,000), while the Nokia 800 Tough comes with a price tag of 109 Euros (approx. Rs 8,700).
The Nokia 7.2 is equipped with a glass unibody design along with aluminium edges. The smartphone is loaded with a 6.18-inch full-HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and HDR10 support. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor.
The phone is backed by up to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. On the camera front, it is loaded with a triple-camera setup at the rear panel, which comes with a combination of 48-megapixel Zeiss Optic primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel 118-degree ultra-wide angle lens with 120-degree FOV and a 5-megapixel depth sensor along with LED flash. For the front, it is loaded with a 20-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The phone is priced at 299 Euros and it will be available from mi-September.
The phone runs on the latest Android 10 and it falls under the Android One programme. The phone is backed by a 3,500mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge support. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM and USB Type-C port.
The Nokia 6.2 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ PureDisplay with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, 500nits brightness and HDR support. It also supports with SDR to HDR conversions along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor along with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, it comes loaded with a triple-camera setup with a combination of 16-megapixel primary lens with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel 118-degree ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For the front, the phone is equipped with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The Nokia 6.2 runs on Android 9.0 Pie and it is backed by a 3,500mAh battery with fast charging support. The Nokia 6.2 is priced at 119 Euros and it will be available starting from mid-September.
Nokia 110 (2019)
The Nokia 110 feature phone comes a 1.77-inch QVGA coloured display. It comes with an MP3 player and FM Radio support. The company claims it comes with a playback time of 27 hours. It also comes with legendary snake games along with four try-and-buy games. The feature phone is loaded with a single rear camera. It is available in Ocean Blue, Stunning Pink and Black colour options. The feature phone is priced at $20 and it will be available in key markets starting from mid-September.
Nokia 2720 Flip
The company has revived the classic Nokia 2720 Flip feature phone. In terms of design, it comes with a big tactical keypad. It comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA primary display and a 1.3-inch secondary screen on the outside. It is powered by a Qualcomm 205 mobile platform and packs a 512MB of RAM along with 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB). The device features a 2-megapixel rear camera along with 1,500mAh battery.
The feature phone is loaded with Google Assistant and it supports other apps like Facebook, WhatsApp. It comes There is a security key that allows users to call and message five close members in case of emergency. Else, one can re-map it to activate Google Assistant. It comes with 4G support and one can also create WiFi hotspots. The Nokia 2720 Flip will be available in mid-September for 89 Euros.
Nokia 800 Tough
The rugged feature phone is IP68 rated making it water and dust resistant. It is MIL-STD 810G standard certified making it a rugged device that can handle drops, pressure, thermal temperature and more. There is a loop at the bottom of the phone through which one can attach it to bags or belts. The feature phone comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display and it is powered by Qualcomm 205 mobile platform. It is backed by a 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB. The company claims it can last up to 43 days. It is built on KaiOS and it comes with pre-loaded apps like Facebook, WhatsApp and more. The phone is available in two colours options and it is priced at 109 Euros.
