Huawei Nova 2 Lite with Android Oreo, 3GB RAM announced

The Huawei Nova 2 Lite features a 5.99-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.

Huawei has added a new member to its Nova series with the launch of Nova 2 Lite smartphone. The company has launched the device in the Philippines with a price tag of P9,990, which roughly translate to Rs 12,500.

The smartphone is available for pre-order the company is also offering bundled JBL headphones with this one. Jumping straight to the specifications, the Huawei Nova 2 Lite features a 5.99-inch display with a screen of 1440 x 720 pixels. The phone is backed by an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, which is clocked at 1.4GHz.

The phone features a 3GB of and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via card slot. It features a dual camera setup at the back with a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for bokeh effect. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter. The phone runs on 8.0 Oreo with company’s EMUI 8.0 running on top of it.

The phone comes with face unlock feature as well as a fingerprint sensor and it also features a 3000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it supports VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, / Glonass, NFC and port. The phone measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 7.8mm and weighs 155 grams.

Previously, Huawei launched Nova 2s in China. The smartphone comes in two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage priced at 2699 Yuan (approximately Rs 26,345) and 2999 Yuan (approximately Rs 29,273 respectively. Along with these two variants, the company has also announced special Yixing Zhang customized variant with 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage which is priced at 3399 Yuan (approximately Rs 33,178). Colour options available for the Huawei Nova 2s are Black, Gray, Red, Rose Gold and Blue.
