HTC is soon going to launch a new handset under its Desire series, according to a report of Gioididong.
As per the report, the new handset is to be named as Desire 200 and will come with nice hardware specifications.
Considering HTC’s past practices, we expect it to launch the handset in India for a price of Rs 15,000.
As per the report, HTC Desire 200 has a 3.5 inch screen with a Resolution of 320×480 pixels. The Android smartphone is said to have a 5 megapixel camera but does not have a front camera. Besides, it would have a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal memory. Along with that the HTC Desire 200 would come with a micro SD card slot for expansion of storage up to additional 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card.
The Desire 200 is expected to come with Android 4.0 operating system and HTC’s very own sense user interface on top of it. But it is highly likely that the final version of the device will be launched with the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 or 4.2 variant. The smartphone will come with a 1400 mAh battery pack powering it for good 1- 1.5 days of usage while keeping the weight and sleekness of the device higher.
For connectivity the Desire 200 will feature single SIM connectivity option but a dual SIM variant can also be expected. Also included is the Beats audio enhancement in the HTC Desire 200 which till now has been much appreciated by users globally.
