Google has officially revealed the Pixel 10 design in a video on its website and it’s not different than what we saw with the leaks. Furthermore, the company also confirmed that the devices will launch in India a day after global launch, i.e. August 21. Here’s everything to know about the new development.
The Google store website now shows a teaser video which reveals the Pixel 10 design and at first glance, you’d think it’s the Pixel 9. While it’s unclear which model it is exactly out of the Pixel 10 lineup, we expect it to be the vanilla Pixel 10, which is reportedly getting three cameras this time around. While adding a telephoto sensor, Google downgraded the primary and ultra-wide angle lens on the Pixel 10 when compared to the Pixel 9, according to leaks.
The Pixel 10 design is shown in a light blue shade which will likely be called the Frost shade. Other shades of the device may include Obsidian, Indigo, and Limoncello, according to an Android Headlines report. While the Obsidian refers to the black shade, Indigo could be the Blue one, and Limoncello is supposed to be a lemon green shade.
Aside from that, Google India confirmed that the Pixel 10 series will launch in India on August 21, after the global launch which is set for August 20. Furthermore, the company says that those who are subscribed or will subscribe to Google store updates will get a special promotional code they can apply on their purchase when the phone is up for pre-order in India. However, the user will have to sign up before August 19, 12:30 PM IST.
The Pixel 10 is expected to sport a 6.3-inch panel with 1080 x 2424 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 422 ppi, and up to 2000 nits HDR brightness and 3000 nits peak brightness. It should be protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 both on the front and the back. The phone will likely be powered by Google’s Tensor G5 SoC, along with 12GB of RAM. You will get up to 128GB or 256GB of storage. It will run on Android 16 out of the box and will get 7 years of Android OS upgrades, security updates, and regular Feature Drops.
