Apple has started rolling out iOS 11.0.3 update for its iOS devices that contains several bug fixes and improvements. The update would probably solve the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus issues where audio and haptic feedback was not working, unresponsive touch input issues in iPhone 6s and some bug fixes.
The update also addresses an issue on the iPhone 6s as some users reported that touch was unresponsive on after the previous update. Apple says that the main reason behind the issue was the fact that the phones were not serviced with genuineApple parts. update is about 276.3 MB in size and is now available to all compatible iOS devices including iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and other Apple devices starting from iPhone 5S or newer, 5th Gen iPad or newer and iPod touch 6th Gen. In order to check for the update, users need to go to Settings> General > Software Update to check for the update. Previously, many iOS users complained that with the latest iOS 11 update, the battery was draining at a faster rate and some also reported Exchange server issue as well which was resolved by iOS 11.0.1 update.
Meanwhile, according to a data collected by analytics company Mixpanel, the latest iOS 11 is installed on 25.28 percent of iOS devices after being released to the public last week. The firm says that iOS 10 is installed on 67.83 percent of devices, while 6.89 percent continues to run on an earlier version of iOS. Interestingly, the iOS 11 adoption rates are much lower when compared to the iOS 10. The iOS 10 was installed on 34 percent devices under a week of launch.
To recall, recently Apple has announced to launch hundred of new emojis for the iPhone and iPad with the update of iOS 11.1. The new emojis are Woman with Headscarf, Bearded Person, Breastfeeding, Zombie, Person in Lotus Position and new food items such as Sandwich and Coconut. Apple added that iOS 11.1 will also include the Love-You Gesture, designed after the “I love you” hand sign in American Sign Language.
