Apple has announced to launch hundred of new emojis for the iPhone and iPad with the update of iOS 11.1.
Apple said the new emojis are designed to reveal every detail. The new emojis will also includecharacters announced earlier on World Emoji Day. The company added that users will seethe new emojis in the developer and the public beta preview of iOS 11.1 from next week onwards. This will be further accessible in upcoming software updates of iOS, macOS, and watchOS.
The new emojis are Woman with Headscarf, Bearded Person, Breastfeeding, Zombie, Person in Lotus Position and new food items such as Sandwich and Coconut. Apple added that iOS 11.1 will also include the Love-You Gesture, designed after the “I love you” hand sign in American Sign Language.
Earlier, Apple released the iOS 11.0.2 update for its iOS devices that contains several bug fixes and improvements. The update was for the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus cracking sound issue while making a call, and issues which caused photos to be hidden and email bug fixes.
