Apple has announced to honour international warranty in India on all unlocked iPhones which are purchased outside the country. Earlier, the Cupertino giant was providing international warranty for almost every other product including the Mac and iPad lineups.
This means, if a person is going to purchase an iPhone from the US or any other county, theone year warranty will be applicable in India as well. This is a great opportunity for anyone who was looking to buy the upcoming iPhone X. As the device is available a starting price of Rs 89,000 for the 64GB variant after the taxes in India and for $999 (Rs 65,000 approx) in the US, which makes it Rs 24,000 costlier in India.

It is worth noting that the international warranty is only available in the purchase of unlocked devices. If the bought device is carrier-locked and the person has unlocked the iPhone later using any third-party sources, then it will not be eligible for services.
Earlier, if a user went to an Indian service centre with an under warranty iPhone which was purchased from any other country, the devices were not accepted for repair or one would have to pay, to get it repair, but now this will not be an issue.
The officially pre-order for iPhone X will be up from October 27 in the country, however, some of the selected stores in the Delhi NCR region have already started taking pre-orders for the device, further, it will be available from November 3.
