Most smartphone users keep interacting with their phone to check photos or other updates while the phone is being charged. Now, smartphones running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update offer several features for these users, of which one is Daydream. This feature allows turning the smartphone into a portable photoframe or playing other information such as quotes, weather information or content from the Flipboard app on the screen.
Daydream mode allows the user to enjoy the phone even while it is being charged to continue to enjoy photos or read information through select apps. It would be pleasant to have a digital photoframe-like smartphone automatically showing a slideshow of your favorite photos.
Follow this simple guide to enable the Daydream mode on any Android 4.2 Jelly Bean or higher update running smartphones.
Step one:
Go to Settings app and select the option – Display.
Step two:
In the Display option, scroll down to locate Daydream and select it.
Step three:
In the Daydream option, toggle the button switch on the top to turn it on. Select the things you wish to see when the phone is being charged. You can check the settings on this window to enable Daydream when the phone is docked, being charged, or both.
