A high end smartphone is always priced high and costlier the smartphone, the better the features. You might have been thinking so for a long time. But this is high time for you to rethink.
Take the instance of Huawei P9. It was recently launched in India at just Rs 39,999 which is much less than Samsung’s flagship – the Galaxy S7. But low price doesn’t mean that it is short of high end features. Infact it is much better that the S7 in many areas.
Huawei P9 has many things that make it an irresistible smartphone. Here are three features that make it stand-out against the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Samsung may have a good 12 megapixel rear camera but the Huawei P9 offers twice the fun. The P9 has not one but two 12 megapixel rear cameras – one is a monochrome sensor while the other is an RGB sensor. The duo allows the phone to capture more light. Moreover, the Huawei P9 has merging algorithm that helps the camera to capture incredible shots.
And do note that the cameras of P9 are made by Leica – the renowned German company which is famous world over for its cameras.
The Huawei P9 has 1.25 um pixel size allowing the cameras to take great shots in low light. Ofcourse it is bit smaller than Samsung Galaxy S7’s 1.45 um pixel. But the difference is negligible and Huawei compensates that with its ImageSmart 5.0 technology which ensures professional quality photos.
The P9 also has a much better 8 megapixel front camera against 5 megapixel unit of S7.
The Huawei P9 is slimmer and lighter than the Samsung Galaxy S7. While the Huawei phone measures 145 x 70.9 x 7 mm and weighs 144 grams, the Samsung S7 is 152 grams heavy and has a thicker dimension of 142.4 x 69.6 x 7.9 mm (height, width, thickness).
Note that the P9 is created by some of the world’s top industrial designers to achieve a visually stunning design with diamond-cut edges, rounded out by beautiful curvatures. The Huawei P9 is sculpted using aerospace-class unibody aluminum and a superior-grade 2.5D glass.
Furthermore, it comes in six gorgeous colours including Haze Gold, Ceramic White, Rose Gold, Prestige Gold, Titanium Grey and Mystic Silver. The S7 was announced in black, white, gold, silver and pink gold colours.
The Huawei P9 has a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery as the Samsung Galaxy S7. So both the phones should have similar battery back up. However, the Huawei P9 seems to have an edge in this as its has a power thrift processor. P9’s full HD display also consumes less power than the QHD screen of S7, though visually it is humanly not possible to distinguish the two screen’s output.
