The Nubia M2 and Z17 Mini smartphones which were launched in China this year are now reportedly to be launched in India soon, as per a report of Digit. The report further says that while the Nubia Z17 Mini will be launched this month, the other Nubia M2 smartphone will be launched after 45 days of the launch of Nubia Z17 Mini.
The Nubia M2 smartphone is priced at 2699 Yuan or approximately Rs 25,542 for 64GB version and 2999 Yuan or approximately Rs 28,352 for the 128GB version. The Nubia M2 comes in two colour variants – Black Gold and Champagne Gold. On the other hand, the Nubia Z17 Mini smartphone comes with a price tag of CNY 1,699 (approx. Rs 15,914) for the 4GB RAM variant and CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs 18,724) for the 6GB RAM option in China. The device comes in Elegant Black, Black with Gold, Champagne Gold and Red colour variants.
Nubia M2
Nubia M2 is armed with a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 2GHz octa-core processor, Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB RAM. There is 64GB/128GB of internal storage in the phone apart from which it has an expandable storage slot that can hold a micro SD card of up to 200GB capacity. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Nubia UI 4.0 and comes fitted with a 3630 mAh battery with NeoCharge Fast charging technology. A fingerprint sensor is integrated into the physical home button on the front of the device.
The Nubia M2 has a dual rear camera setup at the back with both the Sensors coming in at 13-megapixels, with one RGB camera sensor and another being a black and white sensor. Both the sensors are protected by Sapphire glass lens and feature f/2.2 Aperture and NeoVision 6.0 camera technology. At the front, there is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, USB Type-C port, WiFi 802.11 ac, GPS support, Dolby Surround 7.1, and TruSignal Enhancement technology.
Nubia Z17 Mini
The smartphone boast a metal unibody design and come with a sleek form factor with just 7.45mm thickness. The device weighs just 155 grams and sports a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel. At the front, one will find company’s trademarked red circular haptic Home button.
The major highlight of the smartphone is the dual-camera setup situated at the back panel. There are two 13-megapixel sensors at back, with one being a monochrome, while the other sporting an RGB lens, something similar to what we have seen in Huawei dual-camera smartphones. However, the camera comes loaded with a host of interesting features including ultra-fast focus, aperture adjustment from f/1.0 to f/16.0, 3D beautification and so on. Both the cameras come with aperture f/2.2, OIS and 4K video recording. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera with 80-degree Wide-Angle lens for selfie and video calling.
The Nubia Z17 mini features a 5.2-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels along with a 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone comes in two variants including one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor along with 6GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Chipset along with 4GB of RAM. For storage, there is a 64GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 200GB.
On the software front, the runs on Nubia UI 4.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is juiced by a 2950mAh battery with fast charging support. On the connectivity front, the device supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port.
