For selfies and video calling, it comes with a 3.2 megapixel front camera and an LED flash. Moreover, the phone offers decent 8GB in-built storage which can be expanded to upto 32GB using a micro SD card. It comes packed with an 1800 Battery.

Recently, a couple of attractive handsets were launched in the sub-Rs 5,000 price category which includes Phicomm Energy 653, Lenovo A2010, and Lava Iris Atom 2 which are likely to give tough competition to iBall Andi 4.5 O’Buddy.

All the four phones come with quad core processor but Andi 4.5 O’Buddy and Iris Atom 2 have higher clock speed of 1.3 GHz. Also iBall Andi 4.5 O’Buddy has the best camera combination – 8 megapixel rear camera and 3.2 megapixel front camera. Phicomm Energy 653 too offers an 8 megapixel rear camera but its front camera is of 2 megapixel resolution.

Phicomm Energy 653 though boasts the biggest screen among the four – its 5 inch screen also offers resolution. The Phicomm handset also has 64 micro SD card slot while in the other three smartphones you can increase the memory by up to 32 GB only. Phicomm Energy 653 also offers the biggest battery, a 2300 mAh unit.

Note that Lenovo A2010 and Phicomm Energy 653 are enabled phones whereas Lava Iris Atom 2 and iBall Andi 4.5 O’Buddy are phones. So overall, the Phicomm Energy 653 seems to be the best choice under Rs 5000 as it excels in almost all departments except processor in which its clockspeed of 1.1 GHz seems a bit on the lower side.
