Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be rolling out a new update to its budget-centric smartphone, the Redmi Note 7 Pro, that will bring the much-awaited Game Turbo feature. The company has revealed that it will start rolling out the feature with an incoming MIUI update.
Sadly, the company is currently rolling out the Game Turbo feature in China. The brand revealed this information on its official Weibo account that Redmi Note 7 Pro will get the feature with an MIUI update starting June 18. The company claims that with the new feature, users will be able to enjoy improved gaming experience by enhancing touch sensitivity, brightness and more. However, there is no information about the availability of the Game Turbo feature in India.
Previously, the company rolled out MIUI update to Redmi Note 7 Pro that brought April 2019 batch of Android security patches. The highlight of the update comes in the form of the addition of new modes inside the AI camera as well as fixes inside the App which revolved around farce closing when the app was closed and opened again in the Video mode.
The company also revealed that the smartphone now supports famous battle royale game, Fortnite. The support will be available with a new update to all users. Manu Kumar Jain, Global Vice President and MD, Xiaomi India, in a tweet reveals that Redmi Note 7 Pro now comes with Fortnite support. The company is rolling out MIUI 10.2.10.0 update, which brings the support for the battle royale game.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro comes in two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage priced at Rs 13,999 and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage will cost you Rs 16,999. The Redmi Note 7 Pro runs MIUI 10 based on Android Pie and is fueled by 4000mAh battery with support for Quick charge 4.0. The company claims to offer 14 days of standby time and 10.5 hours of video playback. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core Processor with Adreno 612 GPU.
