It was quite a happening week for the Indian mobile market. A number of smartphones and accessories were launched this week that include the Moto 360 Sport. Here we have listed all the devices that were launched earlier this week.
Moto G Turbo Virat Kohli Edition
Motorola launched a special edition of its Moto G Turbo, Moto G Turbo Virat Kohli Edition, earlier this week. It has the same features as the normal version but it comes with a ‘Virat emblem’.
It comes with a FanBox that has a miniature bat autographed by Virat Kohli and a welcome letter signed by the cricketer. Buyers will also get 1-year subscription to the Virat FanBox Club that will give access to information and updates related to Virat Kohli; a chance to meet the cricketer in real-life at special events; live and private chats with Virat Kohli via the app, and special offers on products and services.
The Moto G Turbo Virat Kohli Edition is priced at Rs 16,999 against Rs 12,999 price tag of normal version. It is water resistant and offers Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, 1.5 GHz Snapdragon octa core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 32 GB expandable memory slot, 2470 mAh battery, 5 inch HD display, dual SIM with 4G, 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
Moto 360 Sport
It was launched in black colour in India earlier this week at Rs 19,999.
The Moto 360 Sport is dust and water resistant and thus is IP67 certified. It has optical heart rate monitor, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a 300 mAh battery that claims to last a whole day.
The Moto 360 Sport’s case has 45mm diameter. This Android Wear based smartwatch is compatible with both Android devices as well as with iPhones. Its 1.37 inch display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 263 ppi pixel density.
The Moto 360 Sport is powered by the 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU and 512 MB RAM. It has 4 GB of internal storage. It has Barometric Altimeter, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope, Vibration/Haptics engine sensors.
Asus launched two phones of Zenfone Go 4.5 2nd Generation in India earlier this week. It comes in two camera variants. One of the models has 5 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front camera and is priced at Rs 5,299 while the second version has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera and it is priced at Rs 5,699.
The first generation Zenfone Go 4.5 was launched in December last year at Rs 5,299.
The new Zenfone Go 4.5 (2nd Gen) has model name ZB452KG. It will come in Glamour Red, Pearl White, Lemon Yellow, Glacier Grey, Silver Blue, and Sheer Gold colour variants.
The new model has Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, 8 GB of internal storage, 64 GB micro SD card slot, 1 GB RAM and a 2070 mAh battery. The difference between the new and older version is that the latest model has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor while the older one has a Mediatek CPU.
Besides, the Zenfone Go 4.5 (2nd Gen) has ZenUI, PixelMaster camera technology, 3G, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth, and a micro USB port.
This 6,000 mAh power bank was launched at Rs 999. It is exclusively available onAmazon and is available in Grey and Black color variants.
The Xolo X060 power bank comes equipped with a lithium-ion polymer battery cells. Also, it has quick charge feature that ensures faster charging of your power bank for its efficient usage. Lava A72, A76, A89
The A72, A76 and A89 are priced at Rs 6,499, Rs 5,699 and Rs 5,999 respectively. The A72 and A76 are available for purchase but A89 will be available in coming few weeks.
Lava A76 features a 4.5 inch display screen, while A72 and A89 feature 5 inch display screens. The smartphones are powered by 1.5 GHz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. The phones have 8 GB ROM and expandable storage slot of up to 32GB capacity. All these three smartphones come with 4G VoLTE technology, promising superior voice and data experience. They are based on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Additionally, A72 and A89 will get a guaranteed upgrade to the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating software.
