After launching Vivo V15 Pro in Indiarecently for Rs 28,990, Vivo has now launched Vivo V15 in Thailand. The phone is priced at THB 10,999 which is approximately Rs 24,500. The Vivo V15 comes in Topaz Blue and Ruby Red colours and is available for pre-order in Thailand from March 1 to March 8, 2019.
The major highlight of the smartphone is the pop-up selfie camera. This is the third smartphone from Vivo that sports this mechanism. The first phone was Vivo NEX and the second is Vivo V15 Pro. Apart from this, the phone also features triple-camera setup at the back and MediaTek Helio P70 SoC.
Jumping straight to the specifications, the Vivo V15 features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels,19:5:9 aspect ratio LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 2.1GHz octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and it is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
For optics, the phone employs a triple-camera setup with a combination of a 12-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/1.78 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. For the front, the phone features a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture, which pops-up when you switch to selfie mode. There is a dedicated Google Assistant key on this smartphone. The front-facing camera sensor also enables a face unlock feature.
The smartphone is backed by a 4000mAh battery and it also features dual-engine fast charging support. Furthermore, the Vivo V15 runs Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It features a rear fingerprint sensor and there is an option for face unlock as well. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-SIM, GPS, GLONASS and micro USB. Lastly, the phone measures 161.97x93x8.54mm and weighs 189.5 grams.
