Vivo V15 and Y17 price slashed in India by Rs 2,000

Vivo V15 has received a total of Rs 4,000 price cut since its launch in India in March this year.

Vivo has slashed the price of its Vivo V15 and Y17 smartphones by Rs 2,000 in India.V15 was launched in India for Rs 23,990 and hadreceived a price cut of Rs 2,000 last month as well. Now after the new price cut it will retail at Rs 19,990, down from the earlier price tag of Rs 21,990. Vivo V15 has received a total of Rs 4,000 price cut since its launch in India in March this year.

Vivo Y17 was launched in India for Rs 17,990 last month. Now after a price cut of Rs 2,000, the phone price has dropped to Rs 15,990 within just one month of its launch. The company has said in a statement that it has dropped the price of both smartphones.

To recall the specs of Vivo V15, the smartphone features a 6.53-inch Full display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on 9.0 Pie and is backed by a 4000mAh non-removable battery with dual-engine support.

The phone has a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie shooter with f/2.0 and a triple-camera setup of a 12-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/1.78 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 2.1GHz octa-core coupled with 6GB of and 64GB of internal storage.

The Vivo Y17 features a 6.35-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1544 pixels. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 256GB via card.

The phone houses a triple rear camera setup of 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2, 8MP secondary sensor and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4. On the front, it has a 20 front camera. The Vivo Y17 is backed up by a non-removable 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and it runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
