Vivo is all set to launch a new S-Series smartphone dubbed as Vivo S1 in India on August 7. Now ahead of the launch, the variants and the pricing of the phone have leaked online.
As per a report, the Vivo S1 will start from Rs 17,990 which will be its pricing for the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. There will be two other variants – 6GB RAM and 128GB storage which will likely to cost Rs 19,990 and 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which is said to be priced at Rs 24,990.
To recall,Vivo launched Vivo S1 smartphone in Indonesia recently. The smartphone will be the first S-series Vivo phone in India. Vivo S1 runs on Funtouch OS 9.0, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie and it is backed up by a 4500mAh battery with dual-engine fast charging support. It features a 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Display along with 1080×2340 pixels Resolution and a waterdrop-style notch design.
Vivo S1 has a triple camera setup with a combination of a 16-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.78 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 Wide-Angle lens and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. It comes with 32-megapixel AI selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone measures 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13mm and it weighs 179 gram. Vivo has provided an in-display fingerprint sensor on the S1.
